Moor Lane, Didsbury

The brief was to convert the basement and extend this impressive Victorian terrace to create an external living area and elevated terrace overlooking the garden.  A new staircase links the main living area with a new kitchen/diner within the basement.  Bifold doors open out onto a lower terrace that connects to the garden.  Originally a very dark space, a lightwell floods light into the basement making it a pleasant space to sit and look out.
