Mixed-use Development, Longridge

commercial building design

Due to a devastating fire that swept through the existing property, we were asked to look at redevelopment of this site for a long established business in Longridge.   Rather than dwell on the negative impact of the fire our client chose to take the positive step of proposing improvements to the site.  Their aspirations were to redevelop the site proposing further high quality retail space at street level with high quality residential accommodation above.

The old warehouse building is proposed to be replaced with a building of more suitable scale and appearance to help rejuvenate the western end of Longridge town centre whilst respecting the adjoining Conservation Area.
